The first home for a young family. "Villa the 4" is the name of a modern house built on the estate of single-family houses in the town of Niemcz near the city of Bydgoszcz - the capital of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Poland. The client commissioned the design of selected house interiors: kitchen, living room, toilet and bathroom.
According to the tastes of customers, the interiors have been designed in a modern style with loft-style accents. The interiors are dominated by dark wood, concrete, grays and black accents.
The living room is a gathering place for a young family of three. The dream of the lady of the house was a brick wall, which I used on the main wall with a TV set and properly exposed through LED lighting. It does not overwhelm the interior, but is only a loft accent while maintaining the modern form of the entire space. It perfectly combines classic with modernity. The interior is minimalistic and therefore also spacious. Despite its small size, the living room seems to be larger than it really is.
The dining room is part of the living room. Noteworthy is the large table for 6 people, which can accommodate up to 10 people when unfolded. The owners of the house would like to organize family gatherings in the future, so this place will be perfect for that. Another great dream of the lady of the house was her own home library. This dream has come true. A specially designed cabinet with shelves for books fits perfectly into the interior. Thanks to the corner shelves, it does not separate the dining room from the living room and corridor, and in its form invites you to admire the exhibition and reach for a book. The hanging lamp not only perfectly illuminates the table, but also serves as a decorative element - modern sculpture.
The dining room is connected by a short corridor with an open kitchen with an area of 8 sqm. The kitchen is very roomy thanks to the large furniture riser with a fridge with freezer and high cargo cabinets. The kitchen also has L-shaped standing cabinets and two rows of hanging cabinets. The kitchen refers to the furniture in the living room with dark wood. Bright cabinets give the interior lightness and warmth. The interior is comfortable and functional, and at the same time allows easy maintenance. Modern LED lighting under the cabinets additionally exposes the furniture, giving the interior an interesting atmosphere.
There is also a small, 2.4 sqm toilet on the ground floor. It is a toilet intended for guests and household members. Undoubtedly, at the entrance to the room, the attention is drawn to large-format tiles, a large mirror and a free-standing washbasin. The interior is representative and elegant. The material of natural stone fits perfectly with ceramic tiles imitating wood on the floor, and wooden toilet furniture. An interesting solution that is worth paying attention to in this interior are high mirrors with illumination on the sides of the toilet. They optically enlarge the interior and give the impression of an endless wall.
In summary, the interior meets the highest expectations of customers. It combines modern and loft style. As requested by customers, it is not overly strict, but is cozier. The interiors are designed in such a way that everything has its place there, thanks to which it will be easy to maintain cleanliness and order, which is what future household members wanted.
